I am Here

I Am Here is an intimate portrait series exploring identity, visibility, womanhood and the emotional relationship we hold with clothing as both protection and expression.

Exhibited at Wolfhound Gallery in Melbourne, the series reflects on the quiet ways women can feel both present and unseen — navigating identity through layers of fabric, adornment, gesture and self-presentation. Clothing becomes a symbolic extension of memory, emotion and transformation, acting as both armour and language within each portrait.

Through bold colour, intimate composition and layered visual storytelling, the works explore themes of connection, vulnerability and selfhood — capturing moments that feel both deeply personal and universally recognisable.

The series invites viewers to reflect on the spaces between visibility and invisibility, strength and softness, and the evolving narratives women carry through the bodies, objects and identities they inhabit.
